Approximately 300 Tate County homes remained without power this morning after Saturday's tornado, according to Entergy Customer Service Manager George Cossar.

The outages are spread out across Tate County. 

Senatobia Fire Chief Gary Copeland said the tornado was a category F1 on the Fujita Scale, cutting a path through Hammond Hill Road, Stage Road, and Merryhill Ranch Road.

Tate County Emergency Management Director Kim Brownlee also reported significant damage in the Independence area, particularly along Mays Road.

Some structural damage is apparent, but there have been no injuries reported at this time.
