Sandra Gail Anthony Sandra Gail Anthony, age 62, passed away Monday morning, December 3, 2012, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, Miss. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Pope, Miss. Mrs. Sandra was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville. To cherish her memory she leaves her husband of 45 years, Jimmy D. Anthony, Sr., daughter, Tammy Anthony Cowsert of Pope; son, Jimmy D. Anthony, Jr. of Pope; three brothers, Donald Bynum of Water Valley, Larry Bynum of Chicago, Ill., and Ronald Terry Bynum of Senatobia; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Bernice Juanita Carlisle Bernice Juanita Carlisle, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2012. Services were held Tuesday, December 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia. Burial followed in Truslow Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William Carlisle; children, Larry Webb (Billie), Carolyn Allen (Don), Lynn Carlisle (Becky) and Christy Carlisle (Robby); eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Lawrence Frazier, and a host of nieces and nephews. We would be remiss if we did not take the time to thank Nurse Amp Ingram and Pastor John Garrott and his wife Jennifer. They were by our sides throughout the entire time of this long ordeal. For their love and support we are forever grateful. Even though the words Thank You are small by nature, they hold a lot of importance. Again we could not have been through this battle without them. Frank and Linda Burton have been a tremendous blessing to this family and we will forever be thankful to them for their love and support also. God is an awesome God and for that we are all thankful. Ethel Lee Conard Ethel Lee Conard, 84, of Coldwater, Miss., passed away December 5, 2012. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, at Antioch II Church in Coldwater. Burial followed at Antioch #1 Cemetery in Senatobia. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. She is survived by her daughters, Martha H. Leverson, Evelyn C. Mallory, and Murphytine C. Davis, all of Coldwater; a son, Willie C. Conard of Coldwater ; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Roscoe Dewey Newton, Jr. Roscoe Dewey Newton, Jr., formerly of Oxford, Miss., passed away on December 3, 2012, at his home in Senatobia. Mr. Newton, sales manager of Chambers Division of RangAire Corporation in Oxford, Miss., was a member of Senatobia Church of Christ and served as an Elder of Oxford Church of Christ and Plaza Church of Christ in Sumter, S.C. He was a graduate of The Citadel and a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Rotary Club and Kiwanis Club in Oxford. Mr. Newton is survived by two daughters, Hazel Ferguson (Neil) of Surfside Beach, S.C. and Mary Beth Black (Larry) of Senatobia; two sons, John Newton (Linda) of High Point, N.C. and Charles Newton (Cindy) of Eustis, Fla.; one sister, Margaret White of Sumter, S.C.; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Shelton Newton. Funeral services were held Friday, December 7, at 11 a.m. in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home. Graveside services were held Friday at 1 p.m. in Oxford Memorial Cemetery in Oxford. Memorial contributions may be made to Senatobia Church of Christ, 4214 Hwy 51 South, Senatobia, MS 38668. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home in Senatobia had charge of the arrangements. Juanice Pitner Juanice Pitner, 72, of Memphis, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Baptist Trinity Hospice House after a brief illness. She was the previous owner of Café j. She is survived by her children, Richard M. George (Margaret) of Memphis, Gay Lynn Bell (Terry) of Senatobia, and Jean Pitner of Memphis; grandchildren, Elizabeth Bell, Martin Bell of Senatobia, Richard George, Jr. and Anna George of Memphis; siblings, Betty Exum of Clarksdale, Harlin Klyce (Ruth) of Rockwood, Tenn., Marilyn Webb (Ralph), Ann Robinson (Charles) all of Chewalla, Tenn. The family will have a Celebration of Life from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial Park Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Britain Arnold Wright Sgt. Britain Arnold Wright, 30, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at Fort Gordon in Georgia. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Captain Heather Duff officiating. Visitation was held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Waller Funeral Home. Born in Memphis, Tenn., Britain served as Sergeant in the United States Army National Guard during Operation Iraqi Freedom III. Survivors include his parents, Joy and Bill Wright of Oxford; his sister, Katelynn Wright Hadley and her husband, Joshua of Oxford and his grandmother, Reva P. Arnold of Oxford. Memorial contributions in Sgt. Wright's memory may be made to Paws With A Cause, 4646 South Division, Wayland, MI 49348. In honor of Sgt. Wright's service to his country, the flag of the United States Army will be flown at Waller Funeral Home.
