Northwest extends late registration due to weather

Due to multiple school closings for inclement weather this week, Northwest Mississippi Community College has extended late registration for the Spring 2013 semester until Friday, Jan. 25. Late registration for day, evening and online classes will continue in the Haraway Center on the Senatobia campus. Students should report to the administrative offices at the DeSoto Center in Southaven and the Lafayette-Yalobusha Technical Center in Oxford for late registration. Hours for late registration are as follows: Senatobia Campus 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday-Friday DeSoto Center, Southaven 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday; 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday Lafayette-Yalobusha Technical Center, Oxford 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday; 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday The college will be closed Monday for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Financial Aid is still available for those who qualify. Students should complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov prior to late registration and bring a printed copy of their FAFSA confirmation.
